Lowepro SlingShot100 Camera Backpack reviews
Those that want to make sure they have an easy and safe method to travel with their camera, should make sure they get the right equipment. It’s not clever to walk around with a powerful camera without any protection. In fact, that is one of the main reasons many people fail to deliver quality pictures, especially when they work in the field of journalism. Cameras are exposed to bad weather, lens get dirty, humidity enters the lens cavity or far worse, damages the internal circuits, and camera controls become hard to handle, resulting in an overall poor image quality.
One of the best solutions on the market for camera safety while travelling is the Lowepro SlingShot100 Camera Backpack. It’s easy to carry, secured with padded shoulder slings, and can fit inside a big sized journalistic camera, with ease. It has exquisite features, such as:

  • All weather protection due to special manufactured materials padded on the outside with impermeable designs
  • The back sling can be adjusted, so it’s easy to flip the camera from the back, where you keep it when it’s not needed, to the front, when pictures are to be taken
  • It’s super light-weighted for a back-pack, only 700 grams
  • Fits huge SLR cams with performance lenses and extra battery packs
  • The interior is patted with microfibers that are soft enough to protect the LCD screens and the outside casing of the camera
For me the Lowepro SlingShot 100 All-Weather digital camera backpack has been a first choice. The quality it’s super, and the price is quite affordable considering what it can do. The special sling that is easily adjustable comes in handy each time, allowing the user to have the freedom of swift actions, take instant pictures, be ready when the moment comes, no matter the circumstances. This is essential especially for travel journalists aiming to capture the most significant moments at the appropriate time in their journeys.
The only thing that I can criticize about the Lowepro slingshot it’s that it’s not as valuable for people that do not carry the battery pack attached to the camera. It can get frustrating to try and sling it back to front of the camera is smaller. But the sling has been especially made for bigger cameras, and for that purpose, it’s exceptionally designed. It looks stylish in black and can be worn with success by journalists and photo enthusiasts of all ages and sexes.

Performance Review of the Lexmark 24035SA Toner cartridge for Lexmark printer
If you have a Lexmark printer, then you know that the cartridge you initially buy it with can be very disappointing. And by that I mean that it tends to end abruptly, with no warning, and fairly fast. Especially when you rely on your printer for office tasks, the results can be devastating. This is why you should be aware that when you buy a new cartridge for the printer it should be top quality and not using just any type of ink, but the right one that Lexmark requires.  In my opinion, the Lexmark 2405SA toner cartridge has exceptional performances and assures a long usage period, longer than usual. It’s a safe and economic solution for anyone replying on printing every day.
Some of the specific traits of the Lexmark 24035SA Toner cartridge are the following:

  • It is original, manufactured by Lexmark and the ink used will not damage the printer, nor shorten it’s life expectancy
  • Secure casing using standard materials
  • It says it works for models E230, E240, E330, E334. But in fact you can get this cartridge and fit it in models E230, E232, E234, E240, E330, E332, E340 and E342 as well
  • It belongs to the original generation of Lexmark cartridges, no quality lost since then, as opposed to the new ones Lexmark delivers with the printers
  • Works perfectly even if the printed is quite used
  • Comes in original Lexmark packaging, all logos and features included

Some of us might have an old Lexmark model, and since we are talking about a black cartridge, we might have filled the old one with ink instead of replacing it. It’s said that this damages permanently the printer’s quality and that even if you buy a new one after you’ve done this it’s too late. I expected to see no difference between the printing quality I obtained with the last older cartridge, but I was wrong. Once I installed it, the printed text became bolder and better defined. There is no need to recalibrate the printer after you install this toner cartridge if you used a Lexmark product before.
Overall, the quality is better than expected and the best thing about it is the fact that it’s cheaper. A perfect solution for a busy office, where multiple printers are used and need to be up and working at all hours, no matter what.

Review of the Hisonic Signature Series 2110L Bb Trumpet
Every music enthusiast knows the importance of the manufacturing stage for all musical instruments. Sound quality comes almost completely from the care the instruments were assembled with, and from the performance traits of the materials used in the process. And trumpets are no exception from that rule. The Hisonic Signature Series 2110L Bb Trumpet is a true masterpiece, with no quality or performance compromises. It is a standard type of trumpet, and can be used in various circumstances, and, depending on the purpose, it can have different potential. The best environment for its features is a marching band.
Being manufactured with care, the trumpet presents the following distinctive features:
  • It has a brass finish, for performance and aspect
  • Can be used with success in an orchestra even if it has been conceived for marching outside
  • The sound propagation is adjusted for open environment’s
  • It’s a standard 5 inch bell trumpet
  • It comes with a protective casing to keep it safe from scratches and accidents
  • Also comes with a mouthpiece
To keep the trumpet functioning, you should also buy valve oil. At first, when you receive it, the valve could be sticky and hard to press/move, as they haven’t been used before, and this is why you should oil them a little bit to fix that issue. Also, remember to repeat the operation every once in a while, cause the valve tend to accumulate dust and if they are not taken care of properly, they might stop functioning.
This trumpet is a perfect choice for someone who wants to start learning how to play it. It also works really well for intermediate level users, or for advanced users that want to have something to reverse on. In the end, this trumpet is far more durable than far end expensive trumpets, and this is why even professionals use it to reverse the performances.
Still, it is designed for people that do not know how to play and want to learn. This is why it has been built to resist physically, because beginners are not that handy at playing it, and they would break a much more thinner trumpet. Besides the fact that the valves might need to be oiled more often than usual, everything about it seems to be perfect. A very good buy for the offered price, especially because you also get the padded case, which usually costs a fortune.

Review of the Weller WES51 Analog Soldering Station
Everyone knows that a solder station is basically made out of a soldering iron that heats up with the help of electricity. So the quality of the station depends solely of the quality of the iron. That means materials, dimensions, properties. It is of course important for the station to work properly when it’s used on a daily or hourly basis. Any malfunction can cause accidents or damages that parts that are intended to be soldered. The Weller WES51 Analog soldering station is one of the best choices in its performance category. It is controlled by a potentiometer, which adjusts the temperature of the iron, of more accurate, the temperature limit that the soldering iron is allowed to reach. That is a safety measure present in almost all new generation stations, for nobody wants to overheat a soldering iron.
The main characteristics of the Weller WES5 analog soldering station are:
  • High end potentiometer that offers an accurate temperature control
  • It is designed for industrial soldering, so it can function for hours on end without overheating or damaging risk
  • The soldering pen is especially designed so that the person using the station can work for longer periods of time with straining his hand or wrist
  • It also comes with a stand for the pen, for when the station is not used, and especially for those times when the iron is still hot
  • Designed especially to minimize accident risks
  • It has a new receptacle so that the iron can be easily replaced if needed
The temperature is crucial. Anyone familiarized with soldering tools knows that it all depends on how accurate you station is. Sometimes lower temperatures are needed to do the job properly. The Weller WES51 has a range or 350 to 850 Fahrenheit, and the settings are fine and accurate, so it does a pretty good job. The wireless temperature lock helps users in not overheating the iron, when using with specific materials that could be damaged by high temperatures.
It’s the easiest to use station I’ve ever encountered, and the most comfortable. When soldering your hand gets numb after a while and your wrist starts to hurt, but with this station there’s no such risk. And all because of the unique slim shape of the pen, that allows the solder’s hand to stay rested and move freely. It’s very safe and has a fair price for the offered performance.

Barska AA10612 18x50Collapsible Spyscope Customer Review
If you want to see the details, sometimes looking closely is not enough. You need a spying instrument to spy inside the texture of your materials, or to spy across the skies at night. The Barska AA10612 18x50 Collapsible Spyscope is that instrument. Furthermore, it is one of the best you are going to find in this category.
There is much to tell about the Barska Spyscope, such as:
  • High precision due to the use of qualified materials
  • As all the other products in its series, it is handcrafted by professional manufactures
  • Can magnify up to 18 times, with high precision, and no blurring of the obtained result
  • the lens included in the objective are very precise, and they measure 50mm in diameter
  • Very sophisticated both in design and performance
  • Designed especially to minimize errors in measurements
  • It’s collapsible, that it means it is easy to pack, and to transport, and does not take up much space
The instrument is a real eye catcher. It has been conceived to bring back some of the sophistication from centuries ago, long forgotten in our modern days. And it’s a good thing that there still are manufacturers that work hard to produce instruments of modern performance and stylish antique look.
The one particular feature that is most dazzling about the spyscope is the helical focusing ring of the lenses. It all comes down to how well the lenses perform. After all, a scope is nothing but a well-designed shell for the enclosed magnifying instruments, which are, obviously, the lenses. A helical focusing ring means that the lenses can be used in any lighting condition, with the same end result. Direct sunlight, or extreme fog, do not make any difference for the final quality of the pictures the users see through the scope.
It comes with a storage chest, that is not very handy for travelling with, but does bring an authentic look to it. It’s a certain feel that you get when you see how nicely made the chest is, almost making you feel like it belongs in a long gone century. And that is one of the main attractions the Barska has, it’s unique ageless design. Unlike modern spyscopes or binoculars, it is highly reliable and looks fabulous at the same time. And there’s no performance down set, since the interior lenses are very sensitive and provide quality images.

New Maha Charger is Faster than Expected
We own a phone and small electronics repair shop. That means we deal with all sorts of equipment, most of which is powered by some type of batteries. And it also means that we know lots of stuff about electricity and electrical devices. The Maha Charger has been in our shop for a long time, just not this version, but a previous one. We liked it, and as we grew, we needed more, and we ended up buying a couple of these new versions of what we used to have.
A recharger that works fast is always a plus for us. Sometimes we need to sell equipment with rechargeable batteries, or check some minor repair. And there’s always one, or more things that need a new battery right away. The Maha recharger proved to be more than we expected actually. We are used to wait for one discharged battery for about 2 hours to restore it fully. We know that it can be safely done faster, but before this new Maha product it never happened. Surprisingly enough, this one recharges the batteries in about an hour. That’s double efficiency, and it works just fine for us as it speeds up technicalities and allows us to finish more work faster.
The only issue we would like to point out is related to the display. It has a lateral display that shows each inserted battery and how many modules are charged, for each. And on top of the batteries, there’s information about the charging type related to battery specifications. But the letters are pretty small and the LCD  is tilted back, which makes the whole thing hard to read. We do not need that display, nor do we need it’s functionality, but, because it is a feature of this device, it’s only fair to mention about it.
The charger works independently  for each battery. Some older models need you to fill them so that they charge well. This one has a circuit for each, so there’s no issue. If we want to charge a battery now, and one after five minutes, we just insert the new one whenever, there’s no problem, the circuits do not communicate. For us they were a great needed buy. Very handy when you need to work with batteries around the clock. And they are really nicely drawn, with modern accents. I am very happy with this product.

The Pyle- Portable PA System works great for outdoors parties
I ordered this system some weeks ago, being skeptical about its capabilities, considering the price. But I did it anyway, since I really needed something that was not dependable on a power outlet all the time, and this fitted well within my budget for the buy. The system arrived, and the first time I used it was on a noisy beach, along with a couple of friend.
It really is a powerful system. There was a lot going on around us, but when we connected the ipod and started a song, it basically covered all background noises. I wasn’t expecting the 600Watt to re real RMS output power, but I guess it really is. I also used the microphone a couple of times, is works from far away and the voice in the speaker sounds clear and not distorted. Most microphones change the tonality of your voice, but the settings for tremble and bass the unit can with were just perfect for voice clarity. So, overall, great piece for outdoor parties, plays really loud, and the batteries, once recharged, last for hours. And, unlike other units I’ve read about, I noticed it does not overheat even if you use it plugged in all the time.
But unfortunately I also found a downside. If you play it in a quieter environment, with no background noise, you start to notice that when the music has a little more tremble, there’s an extra fuzz in the speaker. And it stays even if the controls are adjusted. But it is very low volume, and outside it’s not even noticeable. It’s probably from the speaker cover, but it’s not that terrible, and you don’t even hear it all the time. For this money, I expected to be really disappointed, and I am anything but. The system is actually very good.
It works on all power outlets conventions (both 110v and 220v, and it is easy to switch between them) and its dimensions are not that discouraging. It’s big, more than 20 pounds, but it is compact and packing up and carrying along wherever it is needed it’s very easy. My home speakers are not this heavy and they are harder to move around because their dimensions are not appropriate for moving all the time. Regardless of the occasional hiss, I am really happy with the system. I can have lots of fun with it, and I feel like I made a great investment.

Pyle Mics proved to be a great buy
I was looking for quite some time for some wireless microphones. I own a small pub in my home town, and people gave me the idea that a karaoke night would be everything they need. And, as a business owner, I must make sure my clients stay happy right here. So I got the necessary equipment, and the mic station was left at the end. I bought the rest karaoke devices from a sale, so they are used, but the mics are the ones people are going to see and touch, so new was the only way. This is the story behind how I ended up with the Pyle mics.
A bit expensive for my initial budget, I was afraid I was spending lots of money on something that will not last enough to pay for itself. The whole karaoke idea was great but mics are needed around the clock, so I wanted ones that can endure extended usage. And because there were included speakers, we were afraid we could not mount the already present sound system. But the problems were solved once they arrived. The quality is top-notch, and the microphones look very durable. The wireless range is just perfect for my pub’s main room, and the mic can get carried around from hand to hand without any sound performance decrease. Also, we managed to fit the system in perfectly with the already acquired equipment.
Do you know that common problems microphones have, wireless or not ? The extra noise that’s heard in the speakers, if they are held too close? Well, I was surprised to see that these ones do not have it. There’s a better sound filter encaged inside the mic’s head I guess. The unit can be power at both 110 and 220 outlets, so it’s perfectly suitable for people around the world. We actually needed 100V, and were glad we found this unit with the required adaptor. In my opinion, they work really well, especially in bars. For home usage I think the system would be too much of an investment.  The rack allows us to cut the sound in either one of them, and it’s helpful when you want to stop someone from making a fool out of himself. Great buy for my business, I am very happy with them and I hope they will continue to perform just as beautifully as they did so far.

I am a professional marathon runner, and I always try to stay in touch with new gadgets that address to my line of work, as they come in handy more than one would think. For example, when you run a course for the first time, some mapping is required, and if you did it wrong, you ruin the test results and have to start over. A GPS attached to your hand is a perfect solution to adapt as you go. And if it gets the job done, it’s all well. I’m saying that because in my experience, many products do not deliver as well as we’d expect them to.
My favorite running GPS was from Garmin, and when I saw that they marketed a new version, I immediately subscribed for one. I am now the proud own of a Garmin Forerunner 305 Waterproof running GPS, and I can tell you that it has greatly exceeded my expectations. First of all, I noticed the different exterior design, this one looks a lot more durable and much, much more contemporary. And it’s smaller and light weighted. The wrist wrap it’s actually big enough to become a  full arm wrap, and I like that.
Tranning is easier with this newer version due to the extended functionality. It’s smart. For example, if I stop running, it has a in-built function that allows it to stop on its own. Then, when I start again, it restarts the time count, and registers the complete Rest time. This is very handy when I want to look over the training sessions and see how I can improve my timing. Knowing how much time I need for resting and when, how that time decreases or increases along with environmental condition is a crucial part of any athlete’s improvement sessions.
And, for me, the best thing about it it’s his huge memory. I never have to delete anything, nor do I have to download data or manually store it somewhere else, because it can keep an active memory of two years of daily data entries. That is more than enough for me, as I am sure that in two years there will be another gadget that will catch my eye.
But for now, the Garmin forerunner 305 is the perfect choice, and it was cheap as well. If I will upgrade, and I might when technology advances, I am absolutely sure that my choice will be the upgraded version of this running partner.

Waw! A perfectly working waterproof running GPS!
Weight loss has been a real issue for me since forever. I have always been overweight and struggled all my life with various ways to fight this condition of mine. And, as I am well documented in the issue, I know that jogging is a good way to keep in shape. But as my job involves a lot of chronometric and tracking as well, a standard running tracker would simply not do the trick, this is why I shopped for more, to combine both my personal life style with my professional needs.
So I came across the Garmin Forerunner 205, a running GPS with waterproof features added. At first it made no sense to me, why a running/tracking device would need to be waterproof, but then I thought of all those mornings when it’s raining, or foggy, and I still got to do my daily jog, and then go to the track and chronometer various athletes while they are training, no matter the conditions of the track, or the weather. And, on top of that, there’s the perspiration issue. A standard running GPS, if you use it while you are running yourself, can get damaged by the sweat that sometimes gets in the way. Either the device is not sealed well, or it’s used too much, and any liquid that gets through permanently damages it, especially if it’s digital.
The forerunner looked great from the start. Of course I tested it right away, with surprisingly good results. To tell you the truth, I actually was not expecting such quality at this price. But instead of a medium performance device, I apparently got lucky and ended up with the best there is. In my opinion at least.
It’s fairly simple to use and works really well. It also allows you to map the distance online, on a web owned by them that provides GPS monitoring. And, even if I did not intend to, I also did a crash-in-water-puddle test. I basically slipped and feel, directly into a puddle. With the device on my right wrist. And nothing happened. No damage at all, the water did not get through. Very nice padding and a well finished product, not to mention that it also has many advanced functions that some users might not even get to need, ever. It’s perfect for a professional runner in my opinion, but it can also be used with great success for someone that needs it at work or simply jogs a lot.

User review of the Imo Monster Avl-300 Remote
It’s such a hassle looking for the Tv remote, and not finding it. And then needing the air conditioning remote, and finding the Tv remote. And finally, when you look for the garage remote, guess what you will be finding? Yes, obviously, the air condition one. The circle goes on and on and on without end and drives all of us crazy. And if you love electronics and the freedom sense they give you, you know they become useless when the remote is nowhere to be found. The problem here is not the remote controlled devices, but the number of remotes. They are too many, and become easily misplaced. My answer was easy; I bought the Imo Monster Avl-300 Remote, and solved all that hassle.
The Macintosh Imo Monster Avl-300 Remote is a regular remote with a twist: it can control everything in the house.
  • It is not bigger that any of your ordinary Tv remotes, measuring about 23 centimeters in length
  • It can be programmed for usage with every wireless controlled device you have
  • It has both component and activity buttons, and that allows the user  to send multiple commands with one single button, if he initially programmed the remote that way
  • Some simpler system you might have in the house can even prove to be more functional once this remote is connected to them
  • The buttons are intuitively placed on the remote pad, so that users can easily get accustomed to them
  • Just like glow in the dark keyboards, the remote has led lights behind its buttons
I was at first afraid that I wouldn't be able to program the remote myself. I already has a more technical friend standing by in case I needed any help. But when it arrived I realized things were actually quite simple. The remote can be recognized by any computers, and once connected and installed, it will instruct you to enter the online set-up. The wizard is self-explanatory, and you will be able to choose the functionally and devices you want to control from there. Button settings and additional controls are also available online.
For this money, it’s a real bargain. And on top of that, it’s really handy for anyone that has two or more remote controlled electronics in the house and a laptop or PC to adjust the settings. It’s easy to use and highly practical.

Bushnell 150826 H2O Porro Prism 8x26 Waterproof/Fogproof Compact Binocular
Those passionately in love with the nature, often embark in adventures that take them far, far away in the heart of wilderness. And we all know that surviving in the wild depends on the tools we are equipped with, on our experience, and on the instruments we rely on.  For a great view, or of spying on that wolf that just appeared out of nowhere while you were travelling the woods, and who you don’t really want to encounter, a pair of binoculars like the Bushnell 150826 H2O Porro Prism 8x26 Waterproof/Fogproof Compact Binocular is a safe and optimal choice. And the low pricing is a plus, making them available for people all around the world.
With a modern design, along come many other features of the Bushnell 150826 H2O Porro Prism Compact Binocular:
  • The inverted prism design assures a comfortable grip, while reducing the size tremendously, without altering performances
  • The exterior is padded with rubber, so that the compact binocular does not slip from the holder’s hand
  • It offers great maneuverability with the eye cups that can be folded
  • It comes with a central adjuster, of big dimensions compared to the size of the whole instrument, but it has been designed this way to make it easier to focus while using it
  • The lenses don’t affect the eyes
  • Small dimensions make it fit for all hand types
It is a great choice for people who work in jobs that are water related somehow. Fishermen, divers, boat crew members and so on, will need equipment that is not affected by rust or burned down by water linked accidents. This is why this waterproof binocular is carefully sealed in a protective casing, with rubber outlines for further protection. The image quality is high end, due to the enclosed lenses that capture the light sources and maximize their effects. It’s very appropriate for usage underwater.
Looking across a foggy region is easier with this binocular because it captures the light sources, no matter how scattered or distant they might be and it dissipates that light onto surrounding objects that form the overall image. It is perfect for any situations that involve extreme weather conditions, but can also prove useful for those eager to go on fishing trips, hitchhiking, climbing, touring. For the price, it’s almost a perfect buy, one of the best choices when it comes to compact binoculars.

Originally bought to add two more speakers to my indoor 5.1 system, these proved to be a lot more powerful than I expected for this money.
I now have many of them, and I feel that I should give this product the review it deserves.
If you plan to buy a pair, know that is it more than enough for an average sized room. They actually have real bass, and that is perfect since you don’t need to waste money on a subwoofer as well.
With so many speakers to choose from, it’s hard to actually get buy something that fits its description. I mounted a couple of these to the wall, to realize the mounting system is much stronger than it appears.
However, to get the best results with these speakers, you have to make sure the specifications of your other equipment that you intend to use are according to the ones of the speakers. I tried to use them initially on an amp that was not as bright as the speakers, and the results were really bad. It all resorts to the combination of the two, for great performance.
If you are a music enthusiast like me, they will fit your needs. I have a room in the house with the walls captioned to sound proof them, and also to get a better listening experience. They are easy to integrate with existing systems.
They are made for outside use, and they come prepared for any conditions. I actually spray a bit of water with the garden hose over them. I was skeptical about their weather proof abilities, but apparently the speaker is ok, unharmed, performing just as well as before. Of course, they have Teflon interior finishing and an exterior housing that is strictly sealed, so the speaker is protected from outside factors or infestations.
I am very pleased with them. They play really loud, and if my neighbors weren’t so understanding (they love music just as much as I do), I’d say they could be a problem for someone who likes to play it as loud as it gets. The clarity is exceptional even outside, where there’s no ambient arrangement to clarify the sound. For this price, they definitely are one of the best purchases I’ve made over time, they are a five start product, no doubt about that.

This is the terrain binocular I was looking for. It’s evenly priced, and it really delivers army style finish and quality. I am a gun and army accessories enthusiasts, and when I buy something for my hobby, I am very strict in requirements.
I had a binocular I was very happy about, for many years. Unfortunately, usage and time made it collapse on me while I was on a small trip-adventure with some friends. That called for a new one, and after carefully selecting candidates, I decided to go with this.
It arrived in a protective packaging. I was eager to see what it’s really abilities are, thus tested it in any possible way. Underwater, there’s such clarity that it makes you think it filters the water. Of course that’s not possible; it just offers perfect eye protection so you can see every detail out there.
The finish casing looks secure. It comes with a life time warranty in case it’s used in the required conditions.
I am very satisfied with it. It does everything the old army binocular did and more. With this one, I can point to the sky and actually zoom quite a great bit to see planets and stars barely visible with the open eye.
I noticed the anti-fog tag and was happy to see it actually works. Early morning, just before the sunrise, over the lake near my house, there’s always a great fog forming. The binocular was excellent for penetrating through the fog onto the other bank of the lake, where a friend was making a fire. The test was conducted so we can see if we get any images of the fire, but I managed to also see him moving around it. This is why they offer life time warranty; their product is flawless as far as specifications go.
I’ve seen cheaper binocular, but I don’t think they meet the features the Bushnell has. I especially like it because it’s easy to get along, being really lightweight, and the waterproof function is very handy.

I got this to use in my hunting and paintball adventures, and I think it’s just what I needed.
I have always been a passionate amateur hunter. I own lots of accessories, and whenever there’s a hunting event, I’m there. Also, I often organize paintball events in remote locations for me and my enthusiast friends. The sky master giant binoculars are a bit heavier than what’s needed for that, but its accuracy is far better.
I initially wanted to buy a regular smaller one, but I saw the pricing on this one and decided to try it. It is indeed a setback, the fact that it’s big and heavy when you are in a fast-paced paintball game and the “enemy” could strike you countless time before you manage to mount and use your binoculars. When it arrived I thought I’d never get to use it, but experience taught me never to give up.
So I tagged it along in a paintball game. At night time and on a vast terrain it seemed appropriate. And for this purpose, it really was. It’s no good for daylight games on small surfaces. It’s best in games where you need strategy and positioning structure. I already have a smaller old version, which I wanted to replace, but I decided that together they make a great pair.
I realize that it’s called SkyMaster for a reason. It was made to be used on a tripod, and perfect for extended usage. I could see the edge of the forest through it. A little bit too much for what I needed, but that’s not the product’s fault. It’s more like mine - trying to fit something into an activity it wasn’t designed for. Still, for stargazing (I tried that also since it’s its main usage) and at that it performs beautifully.
At only 6kg, it’s actually lightweight for products in its category.  For me it’s not a problem to carry the extra 6kg around, but the other users might find that is an issue unless they buy it for its purpose. All that I’m saying is that it can be successfully used in other areas of activity as well, from hunting to terrain mapping. But after comparing all the tests I’ve conducted with the binocular, stargazing though it’s definitely its number one ability.
Great priced for the performances it encloses, I am very happy with my purchase.

I got this last week because I was going away to visit my girlfriend’s relatives and I was unsure of how I could still keep in touch with my work, I didn’t know if they had an internet connection there or if they would allow me to use it. So, I searched for a low priced Ethernet adaptor, hoping to be able to use it at least on this trip. The package arrived promptly, and to my surprise, the adaptor looked exactly as in the given pictures. I usually expect products to look worse “in person”, but this wasn’t the case.
It’s great! It actually works as an access point. You can put one in every room, and share the internet connection from a router or other wireless devices with an active connection. There’s no complicated procedure, it’s as easy as it gets. You take the Ethernet adaptor and plug it in safely into an electrical outlet. Then, turn on the internet connection on the device that has it, and also turn on your laptop (the device you want to gain access on, I had a laptop). The adapter is automatically detected by the router, becoming and access point. Then set up a new wireless connection on the laptop, and when it’s searching for devices, select the name of the adapter in the list. For me, the router’s main connection appeared as well, but the signal was very poor. With this adapter I managed to get quality signal from rooms away, so it worked well for its purpose.
I was actually expecting much less for this price. I cannot say I am not amazed, but I guess with all the technology advances, it’s normal that we can buy low priced assets that do the job we need reliably.
It says it works best with routers manufactured by the same company. I didn’t notice any glitches in its functionality, so I think it would be safe to say it works with any Ethernet compatible device just as well. I had a stable ongoing connection; I used it to chat, upload and download files, and also watched a couple of TV episodes from my favorite show online, with no problems. There was no network holdback; it worked just as well as the laptop works with an internet cable connected to it. So, this is definitely a 5 start product.

My SRL camera really needs a makeover. I bought it with poor quality lens and the pictures quality is very low. So I bought this lens, hoping to make things better, or at least hoping to get something branded, for real.
My expectations were not failed. Even if I was hoping for more, the standard SRL lens provides acceptable quality for the pricing and the technical specs it has. One cannot expect though professional outcomes. It’s just a basic accessory to regular users. Family photos, walks in the park, trips – all can be affordably captures with this lens, with great quality for those circumstances. But if you want a professional approach, note that you won’t be able to use this lens to film or shoot events or catalogue pictures unless you want to work really hard in Photoshop to edit them later.
This doesn’t mean the item sacrifices quality over pricing. It means it is what it says it is. It’s great for portraits, and indoor pictures. And in bright daylight, under normal circumstances, it performs beautifully.
The lens group situated at the front of the device is not rotatable when the camera is focused. You can still use the filters on your cannon without damaging quality. It has a great response time and it’s not heavy at all. The aperture is of a max of 1.8, which means the camera reacts fast to image changes, allowing you to capture in-motion pictures.  The focus is excellent, it accurately identifies objects, even when slightly moving, fast and precisely, it’s one of the best background bluing lens I’ve ever seem for this money.
However, since it;s a standard lens, the image you want to capture will be reproduces as is. For those looking to create lots of camera effects, there’s just one way with this lens: special camera included effects. Or you can change angles, exposure, do it the old fashioned way, and the rults will be different.
Overall, I’m happy with my buy. It does improve the quality of the pictures my SLR takes now, compared to the rubbish it used to deliver before, all because of the low quality lens that were aquired along with the camera. It’s a 5 out of 5 in its category, and the sells provides us with extra warranty and fast shipping, which makes it even more likely for the lens to become a best-seller.

I just got to use my new cannon lens. It went better than expected actually, I did not have my hope high after deciding to buy an objective this cheap. I was merely hoping for minimal quality, and I really needed to buy something fast, as my daughter’s birthday is coming up.
It’s light-weigh, does not add much to the total weigh of the camera. I actually don’t even feel like I’ve added something extra. In fact, the extra battery pack is a lot heavier. That’s a good thing, as my kids like to try taking pictures sometimes, and a heavy device would cause them difficulties.
The lens is great. Very easy to attach, fits nicely on my Canon. It’s not top notch, but at this price what can we ask for. For 1.8 aperture, the images quality is better than I expected. I own several camera, and like to mess around with photography once in a while, so I know a little bit about the technicalities a quality lens needs. I’m not saying I’m a professional, but the basics are here. And I really recommend this lens to anyone in need of a bargain.
And the zoom...WOW! It says in the specs that it has a max zoom up to 18inches. But apparently it’s for normal dim conditions. Today was a sunny day, perfect for nature shoots so I took my camera (and daughter) for a walk in the park, to test the new lens. Amongst the various pictures I took, there’s one that marveled me. There was a ladybug on my daughter’s shoe and I wanted to capture it, without telling her anything so she wouldn't scare it away. Got the camera out and zoomed really closely (she was pretty far away). The image on the screen looked a bit blury but i took the shot anyways. When I browsed on the card for the resulting picture, I was shocked. No blur at all. I can even digitally zoom through it without loosing quality.
A good thing they added the 30 day return policy, it give us buyers confidence to try such a low priced lens. If it wasn’t for that, I probably wouldn’t have bought it at all. And I am really glad I did. No way I’m gonna return it though. For an enthusiast as myself, it’s just what’s needed. Good quality for collection and family photos was all I ever wanted.

I am a woman and walking around with a big camera hanging by my neck and constantly bouncing back and forth is not really my idea of a good time. This is what brought me here, the need for a hand strap. I know many people think it’s better to get your camera along hands free, but that’s just not for me, not with the neck strap. I carry it over my shoulders when it’s in the case and that’s it. It’s uncomfortable for a woman to walk around with a next strapped camera.
I though the hand strap will take away the uncomfortable feeling I get in my neck, and the pain, due to the heavy camera, the battery and the objective attached. And if it’s hot outside, it causes a rash. With the hand strap, I avoid all those problems, and the camera still feels safely attached to my hand. I am actually more concerned about the camera safety when it’s hanging by the neck, as it might bounce into just about anything, and I can’t control it.
It is a strap for huge cameras. Well not huge, but large ones, like the EOS 1 series. That means it is strong build and fastens cleverly to avoid accidents. Mine is smaller and if the battery grip is not put on, the strap does not suit its purpose. But once I attached it, it fitted perfectly. The camera weight was distributed in such a way that it doesn’t hurt my wrists, and I can carry it around anywhere,  even for long periods of time.

At first I thought it would be a disaster adding an extra 450 grams to my camera. But it’s not as bad as it seems. The extra battery assures a great finger grip, so there’s no pull on your wrist. I took the strap along on a trip, and managed to take great easy pictures with the camera. It’s much handier that a neck strap, and causes no discomfort. Also, I find the leathery finish exquisite and classy. I would have preferred a much brighter color though, but I went for black, it fits the camera color and it goes with just about anything.
For me, it’s a best buy, an accessory I couldn’t do without. I don’t know about others’ opinions, but mine is definitive. This is the best hand strap I’ve ever seen, high quality and nice finish.

It has been a while since I played a game on a real feel joystick.
I used to play video games almost every day as a teenager. Didn’t we all? But now, there’s not merely enough time for that. We barely have time to rest properly with the kids and everything. Still, I said, it can’t hurt to play something, remember old times. And since I “wasn’t allowed” to mess with my son’s console and gadgets, I got my own toy. I am very enthusiastic about it, it’s actually way better than I expected.
Remembering the old times…This is what this joystick meant for me. It hard a safe grip, because of its form. I remember that my old joysticks used to cause my hands and wrists to hurt a lot after just a half an hour of usage. This did not happen now;  the joystick has been designed to be  very comfortable, with easy access to all incorporated controls.
The stick meets all my exigencies as a player. Still, I had a problem with the positioning. Not all the time, just in some situations. When it’s titled, the response time seemed to be slower, cause me to fail a level in my game. I am not sure if this is a defect or it is normal and just happened because I was moving too fast. But I’m sure that for an inexperienced user this will never be a problem, as he will tend to use it with slower movements, at least at first.
I especially enjoyed the hooking up system. I expected that one would attach it to a surface and at the smallest pull, it would detach. But then I realized that’s not going to happen. This one has a safe and easy to put in place system. And the fact that it’s symmetrical it’s even better. I never understood why they made them for the right hand only. It comes in handy to use them with the left hand as well sometimes.
Overall, I can say it was great. A great experience…playing Crysis like before with a perfect joystick made me really happy. If this one fails into the hands of my young son and he breaks it, I’m not going to try and browse for something else, I will definitely order the exact same model. It’s a five  out of five star rating from me.

I have to admit I have almost no experience with binoculars.
But the opportunity came, and I suddenly needed a pair to get on an exciting survival-type trip. So I decided to get something that is not that pricy, but that can, at the same time, provide me with the comfort and safety I needed. They said your binoculars could save your life at some point, and I wanted to make sure I got the best for my limited budget. I was very unsure of what to choose, since I have no past binocular stories, but a friend recommended the Olympus Trooper, and I’m glad he did.
Of course I didn’t get into any real life threatening situation to be able to say now that yes, they are indeed lifesaving equipment.  But now, with the experience of my trip, I can safely say that they are a tool anyone should have around, just in case.  I consider they are a must have of the survival kit. In case anyone has such a thing. I know people that do though.
I expected them to be hard to carry and use. Their dimensions are 10x50, so they are not really the pocket type accessory. But they proved to be low weight, and they fit really nicely in my travel bag. The only moment when it felt uncomfortable was when I wore them over my shoulders and tried to look through them. The strap was too close to my armpit, a bit forced. But worn normally, no problems.
I did some research after that, they are not the best money can buy that’s for sure. But what I saw, I liked. What I saw was a clear image, all the way to the edges of the lens. Could easily follow a target, no matter how fast it moved, at considerable distances. For the money I’ve paid, they are really good.
Maybe more experienced users have a lot of things against them. Features that are missing compared to high end products, straps that are not very soft, and so on. But for me, merely an enthusiast that likes nature and trips, they are the perfect buy. I don’t need to buy anything else anytime soon, and if I will ever need new ones, I think I will go for a superior version of the Olympus Trooper, I like their robustness and the rough manly finish.
